It’s the first week of the BDSFA Finals Series for 2023 and we are proud to announce we have 8 teams competing. So huge congratulations to these teams, we're all supporting you.
There are no games scheduled at Minchinbury Reserve this weekend however there’s still plenty happening both on and off the field.
We hope that you have enjoyed your season and look forward to seeing you at presentation.

BINGO NIGHT
We had our inaugural Club Bingo Night last Saturday night at the Lone Pine Tavern. The night started off on a huge high with the Matilda's winning against France in a penalty shoot out which delayed the start of the bingo but overall the night was a huge success with plenty of fun, laughs and amazing prizes won. Huge thank you goes out to our Bingo Queen, Monica Jurd for hosting the bingo night and we thank all club members who made a night of it, we hope you had a great night and we're looking forward to the Bingo Night returning next year.
GEAR RETURN - Wednesday 23rd August
Attention all Coaches & Managers, if your team is not playing in semi finals or finals please ensure both your jersey and training bags with all the equipment (bibs, cones, witches hats, ball bag, pump) is returned back to our Gear Officer on Wednesday 23rd August from 7pm to 9pm.
Please ensure ALL jerseys are accounted for and are washed before returning.
The Club has spent a significant amount of money this year on jerseys so we need to ensure that all jerseys are returned.
All training soccer balls are to be issued to each player in your team, these are not required to be returned.
We thank you in advance for your co-operation and assistance with this task.
3rd FAMILY FUN DAY – Sunday 27th August
We will be holding our 3rd Family Fun Day at the Lone Pine Tavern for our on Sunday 27th August from 12pm to 3pm. Enjoy a fun day out with the family & friends with the following activities:
• A visit from Mirabel from Encanto with story-telling and singalongs.
• A colouring in station
• A Kids Disco and games in the Pine room from 12pm to 2pm.
• Encanto on the big screen from 3pm
• Mega Meat and Toy Raffle with 10 meat trays and 10 Toys to be won.
• The Lone Pine will also be keeping the Bistro open all day for the event. Kids Eat Free with Main Meal Purchase exclusive for MJSC Members.
We would love to see lots of families and players at the Lone Pine for our final Family Fun Day and raffle for 2023.

We are in the process of finalising the details for our presentations for both Juniors and Seniors with more details to be released soon.
• Junior Presentation and the Club Annual General Meeting – Sunday 22nd October at Minchinbury Reserve.
• Senior Presentation Evening – Saturday 28th October 6:00pm –11:00pm at the Lone Pine Tavern Rooty Hill.
2024 COMMITTEE POSITIONS AVAILABLE
All Minchinbury Jets SC committee positions will be available at the end of the 2023 season, ready for the commencement of the 2024 season!!
We are seeking more people to volunteer and join our committee in 2024 to assist us in running our Club, as the more hands, makes light work.
We know everyone is busy with their work and family life however if you've got a few hours to spare each week to help the Club each weekend with setup, pack up or in the canteen that's all we're asking for, it's not a huge commitment. We have a Committee meeting once a month too.
